Can anyone help me with the problem I am having with my vents on my century. I can not control the vents from the windshield to the dash to the floor. Something has to have gone bad but I dont know what would cause this. I can fix most problems with a car, but if I dont know what to fix it is not real easy. Any suggestions would help.

On May 5th I took my 2000 Buick Century to a repair facility because my check engine light came on and the vehicle bucked at idle after driving for approx 15-20 minutes. The repair facility scanned the vehicle and advised me that the code pulled was for a injector # 2. Problem with heater
Written by: tommyg18 on Jan 31, 2007 6:36:31 AM
Hi, I'm having a problem with the heat in my 2000 Buick Century. Although I can't find evidence, I suspect I have a leak as I'm filling my antifreeze every two weeks or so. I've checked the floor mats to see if the issue is the heater core leaking, but like I said, no evidence to support this. The "low coolant" light goes on and off, seemingly at random and when ... I removed 3 hinge screws on bottom, tilted box sideways, jiggled a little, and it popped out. I used reverse to put it back in. Installing the satellite radio was a real hoot. Written by: mminerbi on Oct 5, 1999 6:49:06 AM
The horsepower boost and the addition of a fold down rear seat in the 2000 Century are excellent enhancements. The only things missing, for my taste, is a touring suspension option and more responsive steering, as Buick offers in the LeSabre and the Regal LS. The advantage of the Century over the Regal is that it's got six passenger seating, and its dimensions are trimmer than the LeSabre's.
