Hi jcginTX. On November 1st, BMW provided dealers with a $5,000 final dealer cash payment on any 2008 Z4 3.0i roadster units that they reported as sold. There is a good chance that any Z4s that are still sitting around received that cash. I definitely think that you can do better than a $4,000 discount on this car right now. The lease program that you were quoted for this car is ... Read More

Hi choosinu. BMW Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 BMW Z4 3.0si roadster with 15,000 miles per year are .00230 and 60%, respectively. As you can see, these numbers are in line with what the dealer quoted you. A money factor of .00230 is equivalent to an interest rate of around 5.5%. That's the going rate for a ... Read More

Hello Car_man, Do you have the residual and money factor for 08 Z4 si 36 mo 15K miles? I am trying to validate numbers a dealer is giving me. Here's what I have gotten from him so far: Negotiated price - 43,500 (includes metallic paint, premium, sport, nav, steptronic, heated seats and zenon headlights) Dealer says MSRP is 50750. That only makes sense if nav is not in the car. I ... Read More

Hi dk90210. I am not sure of the exact selling price that BMW used to arrive at its advertised lease payment for the Z4, but whatever it is I suspect that you will be able to beat it. Manufacturers' advertised lease payments usually leave a little meat on the bone so to speak. It makes sense if one thinks about it. Dealers would be pretty annoyed if they advertised the best ... It was kept in a garage at home and at work. Distance to work? 5 miles. The car seldom saw speeds above 40 miles an hour. It got garaged for the winter months. It seldom saw a drop of rain. Ah, ... Hello jojo16. The money factor that you were quoted for this lease looks a little high to me. If you are talking about a 2008 Z4 here, BMW Financial Services' current buy rate for non-returning customers who pay a security deposit at lease signing is only .00270. Make sure that the dealer you are working with uses this factor to calculate your car's monthly payment. I see that you are considering ... Read More
