I have Bridgestones on my 2007 BMW Z4 coupe, and it has ridden stiffly from day one, and I have a 2010 328i running Michelin Pilot Sports, which rides much more like a performance-oriented driver's car. All RFT's and same sized tires (the front and rear sizes on both cars are different tire sizes). If possible, I would suggest you go by by a BMW dealer and find a similar car ... Read More

I have a 2007 BMW Z4. I wanted a six-speed so I got a 3.0i with the sports package. Probably should have done my homework a bit better. I bought the vehicle used (after having driven and loved my BMW Z3 for ten years and 130,000 miles). I bought a new '07 Z4 from a Denver dealer in July 2007. At about 3,000 miles, the dealer aligned the front-end. After that, the steering was sensitive to every bump, bulge or break in the road. Smooth roads at highway speeds were fine. But when driving in town between 25 and 50 mph the car was hard to handle. On a crowned road, the steering pulls "downhill". If I hit ... Read More
