Re: z4 lease [z4racing]

Hi z4racing. If you are in an area that has a decent level of competition, I suspect that you should be able to get a 2005 Z4 for a few hundred dollars over dealer invoice minus any incentives. You can find the invoice price of the exact car that you are considering by looking in the following section of this site: Edmunds.com New Vehicle Pricing. You also may be able to ... Read More

Hi ipark. BMW is still offering an attractive lease program on the 2005 Z4 in November. The main difference between its October and November lease programs for this car are that the most attractive length lease for one was 30 months in October and it is 36 months in November. Re: Best deal on this BMW Z4 ? [anumolu]
Written by: Car_man on Dec 8, 2005 3:21:16 AM
Hi anumolu. BMW is currently providing $3,000 dealer cash on the 2005 Z4 2.5. Taking this cash into account, you should be able to get one right now for several thousand dollars below dealer invoice. As far as this specific offer goes, you are being asked for way too large a down payment. I always advise consumers against making any sort of down payment when leasing. I do so for two ... Read More

z4 lease deal
Written by: ipark on Nov 2, 2005 6:25:05 AM
To forum Recently I found out that there were decent 2005 Z4 deals around (299/month?). However, the deal seemed to be expired 10/31/2005 by bmw's website. Is this deal still around? Cuz I like to get one very soon (over the weekend) if the deal is still around.

Re: Re: CarMan, OOOOh Carman where are you?
Written by: Car_man on Oct 28, 2005 4:15:33 AM
Hey omegagen. Your deal is not actually under invoice once the $3,000 dealer cash that BMW is providing on the 2005 Z4 2.5i right now is taken into account. This dealer cash means that if you pay $35,250 for a car with a dealer invoice of $36,620 the dealer is still making $1,630 on your deal. You may be able to get them down at least another $500 to $1,000. Car_man ... Read More

No problem toncar. BMW is currently providing $3,000 dealer cash on the 2005 Z4 2.5i. You are being offered a discount of just over $5,000 on this car, so you are probably getting it for less than $1,000 over dealer invoice which is a reasonable price. According to my calculations, if you were to lease this car for 30 months with 12,000 miles per year, its zero down, pre-tax monthly payment ... Read More

Hi fireball. There's a reason manufacturers have to put thousands of dollars in dealer cash on a vehicle. Don't get me wrong, I think that the Z4 is a neat car, but if it was selling really well BMW wouldn't need to provide so much dealer cash on it. The price that you were quoted is $1,770 over dealer invoice. If you are in an area where there is a lot ... Read More

Need Help With Z4 Deal (price & lease)????

Hi tara3056. BMW is currently providing $3,000 dealer cash on the 2005 Z4 2.5i. After taking this cash into account it appears to me as though you are being offered this car at just over dealer invoice, which is a good deal. The dealer that you are working with is not trying to mark-up BMW FS' buy rate lease money factor of .00100 either, which is a good thing. The only ... Read More

Hi tara3056. The .00100 money factor that you mentioned in your post is only available for 30 month leases of this car through BMW FS. Its money factor for any other term less than 42 months doubles to .00200. If I was in the market for this car I definitely would go with the 30 month term. Also, the 36 month, 10,000 miles per year residual value for a 2005 Z4 ... Read More

Hey dugdogg. BMW Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor for 30 month leases of the 2005 Z4 is .00100 with the payment of a security deposit ant its $625 acquisition fee. If you are paying both of these charges, then the dealer that you are working with is trying to mark-up BMW's buy rate money factor to add additional back-end profit to your deal. Hi baasten. As bdr127 just mentioned, BMW has not started producing 2006 Z4s yet. When they begin to arrive early next year, I highly doubt that BMW will offer any sort of dealer cash on them. It might initially offer a special lease program, but it will be different than the one that is available on the 2005 Z4. Car_man Host Smart Shopper / Prices Paid Forums

Here you go, therose400. If you were to lease a 2005 BMW Z4 through BMW Financial Services right now for 30 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00100 and 59%, respectively. Hi Frank. The fact that there are no other BMW dealers within 100 miles doesn't help your bargaining position any. As you seem to already be aware, it appears as though there is some money factor mark-up going on with your deal. $2,500 under dealer invoice would be a great deal for a 2005 Z4 2.5i because there is only $2,500 dealer cash on it right now. paid too much?
Written by: mame on Mar 30, 2005 11:48:40 PM
I just bought a 2005 Z4 2.5, sport package, premium package, etc, MSRP $41700, by $37,000. Invoice price was $38,600, and I believe the BMW incentive for March 2005 is $2,500. That should give the dealer a profit of $900, which I think is fair. Reading this forum, it seems to me that the actual incentive was higher than I thought so... did I pay too much? Thanks

Re: Production figures [wantone5]

Unless I'm reading it wrong I believe 2005 production is right in line with 2004. BMW produced about 35,000 Z4's in 2004 or about 3000 a month. 6000 year to date 2005 would be about right so far.

2005 Incentives
Written by: rjbpa on Nov 21, 2004 8:12:44 AM
With the change in the residuals for the 2004 Z4s, a lease on a 2005 works out to a lower monthly payment vs a 2004. So, when can we expect to see some cash incentives on the 2005s? Will the dealers and BMW be desperate to move them when the snow starts falling? Also - I got a lease quote from a dealer that included a $725 Assignment fee. Anyone have ... Read More
