BMW Z4 Tires and Wheels

Re: BMW Z4: Tires/Wheels

I was the fortunate second owner of the most pristinely new, babied 2004 BMW Z4 2.5i convertible. After 2.5 years with the first owner, it was only driven 11,400 miles. It was kept in a garage at home and at work. Distance to work? 5 miles. The car seldom saw speeds above 40 miles an hour. It got garaged for the winter months. It seldom saw a drop of rain. Ah, the tires. ... Read More...

Porsche Boxster or BMW Z4

Z4 is a great value; especially used

The Z4 is definitely cheaper to own than the Boxter. And right now BMW has truly incredible lease rates on the Z4 (at least till August) with very low interest rates. I am quite sure that the lease programs are going to be aggressive since the end of summer is here. The good thing about leasing is that you can always buy the car if you want to keep it but in case you do not ... Read More...

Re: bmw z4 so low to the ground [cheezemeister]

Here is some information that may be related to the Z4 and too close to the ground deal. I'm leasing a 2004 Z4 currently at 13000 miles. The other day, I started feeling a thumping with the suspension. I took it to a BMW dealer and guess what ... The 4 Rims are bent. You heard that right, 4 rims bent. I asked the dealer how can 4 rims be bent and he said potholes. Are these ... Read More...

2004 Z4 2.5 Pricing Help

I am looking at purchasing from a dealer a CPO 2004 Z4 2.5 w/ auto, Premium, Sport, Convenience and metalic. It has approximately 18,000 miles. They are asking $37K which is high but I am trying to determine what is a reasonable offer to make the dealer. A new 2004 w/ these options had an MSRP of $42,670 and invoice of $39,100. Since BMW was offering incentives in 2004 ... Read More...

Re: 2004 bmw z4 2.5i ownership cost [mikey432]

Did you see what Terry said on the Real-World Trade-In Values forum about this car? If I understand it, with the no-leather, no power top, etc. he's saying around $25.5K for the car, trade-in value to a dealer. If you're sure you don't care about those options, want a stick, etc., why not offer $26-$26.5K? And the spt pckg & xenons are really nice. Hard to say, the ... Read More...

Re: 2004 bmw z4 2.5i ownership cost [mikey432]

Are those all the options? No power top? Metallic paint? etc... If so, a new '05 would be $37,500... They have pretty good incentives.. Actual selling price would probably be around $33K.. That said, the $27K asking price is realistic.. Most private sellers are very unrealistic.... At $26K, you'd have a good deal... and a lot of warranty left.. Maintenance is ... Read More...

2004 bmw z4 2.5i ownership cost

I have little idea about the z4's so I would appreciate your feedback on pricing and cost. I am looking at a 2004 2.5i, 5-speed manual with the sports package and xenon lights, heated seats. it's driven 6k miles. the private party is asking for 27k. does that price seem reasonable or should i be bargaining some more? what's the same 2005 cost brand new? another concern ... 2004 Z4 2.5 Sport Package

Well, here we are sports car owners! We have a Cadillac Escalade and a Dodge Super cab Hemi, but we always wanted a fun car, two seater convertible! At our ages, it was soon to get one or forget it! This last Saturday we went to breakfast, went to a Golf shop, and then we decided to just browse the dealerships for a sports car. I told my husband I always wanted red with tan ... Read More...

Re: Production figures [wantone5]

Unless I'm reading it wrong I believe 2005 production is right in line with 2004. BMW produced about 35,000 Z4's in 2004 or about 3000 a month. 6000 year to date 2005 would be about right so far. Read More...
