Here is what I got: 2014 X5 xdrive after all the configurations, the MSRP is $61500. I called three local BMW dealers and the best price I got it is MSRP-$750 due to a long waiting list for this new/hot 2014 X5. In addition, we need to take the one in their inventory instead of a customized one as we want. So, I visited the dealer and met the general manager ... Read More
Nate, Could you send me BMW dealers contacts? I'm looking to lease 2014 X5. my email is abhi_2003 at hotmail dot com Appreciate it! Thanks AK
Hi Jason, I apologize for the late response. I have been on vacation with my family in the Caribbean Islands for the past week and a half. I am happy to know that my reference helped in getting you a good deal. A lot of credit goes to Edmunds and it's moderators for facilitating this exchange. I encourage you to help other edmunds shoppers if you can spare some time by ... Read More
Sorry my question was a bit short. Are there 2014 diesel #'s out yet? if so can you share the 36 month residual? Assuming the MF is .00125? Can you also share the 2013 #'s for the diesel? Also, does the 2013 still have the eco-credit available? Any option credits? For some reason BMW has pulled 2013 info off their website just for the X5 (they left 3 and 5 series ... Read More
You may contact BMW of Fremont and ask to speak to Peter. He is the General Manager there. If he does not answer, leave a detailed message with your name and number and do share with him that you were referred to him by NATE from SARATOGA. Call back in a day if he does not return your call (maybe he did not get the message). He will take care of ... Read More
The 2014 X5 colors are all shades of gray, black and white, except for one metallic brown... There are only 8 colors, and a couple of them are only available with the Msport package..
What are the available colors for 2014 BMW X5? We were told by a dealer today that if we want it in blue, we will have to pay $5000 more. It was shocking to me since blue is such a common color. Just wondering what other people's experiences are.

Thanks kyfdx, Is there any incentive or any credit i can apply, if i currently have one MB and BMW can provide some competitors credit or sth? I knew they used to have about $1500 credit if you drive luxury car but don't know if they still have that or not.
BMW will let you "lock in" the current rates for up to 60 days from the end of the current program.. So, if you ordered today, your rate lock should be good until the end of December (which should be plenty of time for an X5). Of course, before you order, you still have to negotiate and make sure your dealer agrees to use the base rate, and not mark it ... Read More
I want to lease a X5 3.5i 2013, before the 2014 comes out. Can anyone give me a lease rate they are paying to give me an idea on what to expect. I have leased many cars before, but never a BMW, so don't know how flexible they are. thank you
Cold, premium, bmw apps and running boards. msrp is 62525.
Hi guys - I am in the market for a 2014 X5 as well, can you please share the invoice price and the dealer information? Thanks..
Thanks. Can you advise on this config for purchase: 2013 BMW X5 xDrive35d cold weather package prem package technology package third row running board satellite 1-year bmw apps Dealer is offering at invoice price of $61,565 before the $3500 eco credit and the $1000 Drive event credit which comes out to $57,065 before tax. Supposedly there is another $1000 rebate if I finance a portion of the car. So, I was ... Read More
That's correct. Acq gets paid up front or bump in MF if not. Disposition is at the end.
I think that would be the disposition fee... that is waived at lease end.. You used to be able to waive the acquistion fee, in exchange for a .00035 bump in the money factor... That only worked to your advantage, if the lease was short term and the car was a entry level stripper.. I'm not sure they still offer that...
Acquisition Fee cant be waived except at the end if you go into another BMW lease
superdog thanks for your advice as well.
Sorry not paul miller.. it was Prestige, Speak to Lori. 1st class all the way. I'm getting 800 over invoice on 2014 x5.. going in to sign this weekend. "It's certainly more polished this time around with its mix of big cabin comfort, luxury trimmings, sporting performance, all-weather security and accomplished manners. The 2014 BMW X5 is slightly spoiled by the V8's lazy step-off and that flawed steering feel, but neither shortcoming is pronounced enough to dampen the average buyer's enthusiasm for it." 2014 BMW X5 xDrive 50i First Drive
I think the msrp was 68+ invoice was 64+ sell price was 65+ ( 1k over invoice) Paul Miller in NJ has really good deals and has been getting a lot of NY business... Hi Car Man This is my first post and my first attempt at leasing, but I've been reading the lease terms to become more familiar with leasing. Prior to reading the wonderful information posted here, I had started asking for lease terms on an X5 3.5i Premium. One MSRP (with options) was 61200 and other was 68400. But none of the dealerships I've spoken to give any details about money factor, ... Read More
I don't know about the West Coast, but on the East Coast the tri-state area of NY-NJ-CT (or NY-NJ-PA) is very competitive. While I've personally been looking at CPO X5's, I would hazard a guess that invoice should be achievable on a car that is just on the cusp of being replaced by the all-new 2014 X5 in August. Even if you can't wait til 2014s are flooding the lots, if ... Read More
HI Guys Looking for some advice on the purchase of a 2012 X5 35i. the car comes with Premium Sound Package, Premium Package, Executive Package, Metallic Color, Nevada Leather and Walnut wood Trip. I'm in montreal and looking to purchase this vehicle for $55900. Do you think that this is a reasonable price for a 2012(with 0 km) taking into account the value of the depreciation of buying a 2012 vs ... Read More
Even though I just bought a 2013 Cayenne diesel, I would agree that the 2012/13 X5d is an excellent choice - and very competitively priced with the current incentives. To me, the X5 gas models are much less of a "deal" and may need to be discounted more heavily as the 2014 model gets closer to reality. Other than BMW, every other manufacturer - Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, VW - prices their ... Read More
A friend of mine looking to replace his 2008 X5 4.8i came over Saturday to take a look at our 2012 X5d and we drove each others' vehicle to the dealership 15 miles away. I know the latest X5 5.0i is an upgrade in power from the 4.8i, but I was still surprised that the 2012 X5d feels every bit as powerful as the 4.8i at speeds that ranged from 20 ... Read More
I am in a similar situation - looking at a 2013 5.0 , v similarly loaded. Was debating waiting on the 2014 but 2 reasons for not doing so; 1) Probably wont be able to get the same sort of deal vs the current model year 2) Have read several posts that strongly advise avoiding buying any BMW in it's first model year ie glitches etc. I am looking to purchase ... Car_man, I've never leased in the past, but may consider it if I decide to go for the Tesla Model S that we have now been notified is ready for us to "build" after having had one on deposit for 8 months. For everyone who is planning to buy/lease a 2013 E70 X5, keep in mind that this is the last year of production before the 3rd generation X5 launches as a 2014 model next April/May. BMW always incentivizes the final production runs of a model before the next generation releases. So expect heavier lease and other incentives later this year, especially if combined with the annual end-of-year sales event (Nov 1 - ... Read More
The option to buy a new model doesn't have anything to do with maintenance issues after 3 years, which was your original statement. If you want to know if a new X5 model will come out, just track the current generation's production cycle. BMW production cycles run 7 years (except for the new 3 series that goes on sale in the U.S. next spring. That production cycle could be much longer ... Read More
BMW usually runs 7 year model cycles which would mean a full redesign in 2014. Also BMW made some changes to the body for 2012.
After much internal debate with my wife and many a discussion with BMW dealerships nationwide, I bought a 2008 BMW X5 3.0si CPO with every option included. Very happy with the decision. Looked hard and long at the 2011 X5 diesels, but finally decided that a 2 year locally serviced car with CPO can provide just as much joy and save nearly $20,000. Some of you are probably struggling with the ... Read More
