Problems With My 07 X5 ON Snow/Ice...is it tired or my driving??

I have a 2007 bmw x5, and the last two weeks here in the Seattle area, we've been hit with snow storm after snow storm and not its icy. I've had a few instances, where I am going up a hill and then i start spinning and cant get up! Then, I was going down a hill, but had stopped and started slidding. The dealer (in Long Beach CA) would not give my friend any clear info on leasing the 2007 X5 they have. Only said it has to be 48 months and were then all over the map with numbers. He walked and quickly. I was working on a 2009 deal that he walked from as well. They woudn't do better than $1600 over invoice which was fine. I'm getting ready to finalize negotiations with Chrysler on my '08 Commander to buy me out through lemon law. I've settled on the X5 and the Land Rover LR3. Price depends a little on the relationship with your dealer. BMW dealers aren't used to getting hammered over price. I used to think 1 - 1.5K over invoice was fair for a BMW. With the premium package deal (2500) that moved my target to 1 - 1.5K under invoice. This is with a dealer that I plan to do other business with. I am a bimmer fan (as you could tell by my sreen name) but not a fanboy. I am also a BMW club member and receive their monthly magazine "Roundel". In April 2007's issue, they did a comparison test X5 (not the V8) vs. MDX (with sports package). I agree with Anon that parts on Lexus are from Camry but not all parts. Also, not all Lexus vehicles are built on Camry, some are. For discussion purpose, let us consider 2007 Camry and 2007 ES. Your assumption that Honda and Acura have better resale value than BMW is incorrect. Several surveys over the past few years, including JD Powers and Kelly Blue Book have ranked BMW at, or near, the top of the list for resale value.
