m5x3
Written by: scotth6 on Feb 9, 2004 5:57:53 PM
Nice to hear someone is happy with their choice and not getting harrassed by some BMW hater. I also got the Terracotta interior with Jet Black exterior and some guy harrassed me about my gray carpet. I now assume mine will have black carpet since yours does. I also got a pretty loaded one with premium, sport, Y spoke wheels, Xenon, heated seats, premium stereo. I have a 2003 M3 and ... Read More

My 9th BMW
Written by: scotth6 on Jan 29, 2004 6:08:21 AM
My X3 will be my 9th BMW since 1995. Regarding the gray interior of the X3 I can tell you that my X5 that I am trading had the silver interior and I will never do a silver interior again. Dirt and wear shows on the seats, carpet, and especially in the back where you carry things. My 2001 330cic also had the silver interior and it showed dirt and the ... Read More

Navigation System and Sirrus Radio
Written by: scotth6 on Jan 28, 2004 1:38:18 PM
I ordered An X3 3.0 with a sticker of $46 with most options except the navigation system. I have a 2002 M3 convertible and a 2003 M3 coupe. I do not like the navigation system in my M3 and rarily use it, it malfunctioned and the entire unit was replaced under warranty. Maybe its my generation but I though it was a little difficult or maybe its just hard to shift ... Read More

My X3 Is already built
Written by: scotth6 on Jan 19, 2004 1:57:00 PM
Ordered a loaded X3 3.0 in late November and it was built last week and will be here in 3 weeks. I got the sport, premium Pkg, better wheels, xenon, premium stereo, heated seats etc with a $46 sticker. I am probably not the typical X3 targeted buyer since I own a 2002M3 convertible and a 2003 M3 coupe and I am trading in my 2001 X5 with 45,000 miles. For ... Read More

X3 versus other SUVs
Written by: dhughes7 on Dec 29, 2003 5:10:01 PM
Like many of you, I was very interested in the X3 after seeing the vehicle at last years auto shows. My wife's last two cars were BMW 330's. She currently has a 2003 model. I expected to buy an X3 when they arrived but did some comparisons against other capable SUVs. First I compared it to the X5. Like others have said there is only a $3K difference between an X5 ... X5 v. the 03 Discovery
Written by: polo2928b on Nov 10, 2002 7:17:18 AM
I own a 2000 528 and I love BWM engines, performance and everything BMW stands for, but the X5 feels like a poor job of what all BMW stand for, yes is probably the fastest SUV out on the market but that is all you get with the X5, So I opted for a Discovery 2003 with 217 HP. a V8, 4WD all the time, double transmission, leather, double cargo space ... 2002/2003 X5 and Pricing
Written by: dzuba on Oct 29, 2002 11:26:17 AM
I'm curious, on new - what are people out there paying below MSRP? $1500, $2000, $500.00? Today I had a BMW rep offer to throw in the Spartenburg experience if I purchased new vs. CPO, as he has no CPO on the lot! Anyone done the Spart thing, and is it worth it? He flies me down, I do the thing, and drive my vehicle home!

2002 3.0i Under Invoice <>
Written by: jvmax on Oct 9, 2002 6:49:34 PM
OK, after some research in the Central/South Florida area, there is no way that I can get invoice price let alone under invoice on any 2002 3.0 X5 eventhough the 2003's are on the lot. Best I can do is 1500 above invoice. One dealer even had 7 2002 X5's and wouldn't deal even without a trade-in, and I even was going through BMW Financial services. I think some people on ... 2003 BMW X5 4.4
Written by: sbadge on Sep 25, 2002 6:29:14 AM
tinlittle What makes you think I was expecting anything? I posted something that was relevent to the forum. Just maybe someone out there could have purchased a similar or exact setup, couldn't there be, huh?? Just maybe someone could have just came back from a dealership, saw my post, and decided to share his/her packages/pricing with me. A forum is about sharing similar experiences. Obviously you have nothing to share.

Negotiating now on an '03 4.4
Written by: monkeyyeh on Sep 24, 2002 4:17:40 PM
Got a few questions for everyone... hopefully they won't be annoyingly simple. 1. Tax and tags... are taxes a given? I'm an idiot living in DE where there are no sales tax, but looking to purchase the X5 in PA... perhaps sales tax on vehicles are separate from normal sales tax? 2. As I understand it, BMW doesn't have a holdback. Given that I don't have the invoice pricing info for ... Read More

sbadge, when you ask people around here if you have a good deal. Do you expect only someone orderred soemthing exactly like yours to comment or do you expect people to calculate the invoice and MSRP of the car you described by themselves.

2003 BMW X5 4.4
Written by: sbadge on Sep 19, 2002 7:24:54 PM
Just ordered a new 03 BMW X5 4.4. The 2003 model now has DVD based Navigation, and standard Head Protection System for the rear passengers. Previously you can not order Adjustable Ride Height with the Sport Package. Now you can. Also if you order the black interior, you now get a true black, not the grayish black. Otherwise, everything remains the same. The quote I got for the 4.4 is $58,400. ... Read More
