2013 BMW X1 sDrive28i 4dr SUV (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 8A)
Overall, the car is a realy joy to drive, but we've had some major mechanical issues.
Less than 15,000, and we've already had it in the shop twice for cylinder replacemets, once for failure of the catalytic converter, and now for a transmission failure.
All within 6 months.
We'll see how the BMW dealer chooses to help rectify, but so far not happy with the build quality.
Typical BMW driving dynamics, which is to say it's a graet car to drive every day.
Handling is great, fuel economy is pretty good, engine has plenty of power for it's size. But quality issues so far have detracted from it's positives thus far.
Mechanical quality has so far been an issue.
Hard to really enjoy a car when you can't trust it to not break down every two months.
