Re: Lease Buy Out - to do or not to do [adefina]
I just leased the 2009 Li and I love it. BMW gave $6000 in rebate to be uused as cap reduction. The dealers are selling them at cost. I used Multiple securites to get money factor down but it is already low at .00090, this is equal to 2.25% Unless you plan on keeping the 2007 for more than a few more years I would say lease a new one. I would think payment should be in the $1100-$1200 ... Read More...
Lease Buy Out - to do or not to do
I am trying to decide whether to do a lease buy out on a 2007 750li, or lease a 2009. It is in excellent and almost pristeen condition and has 27,000 miles on it. the residual is $52,014. No repairs have been needed, just regular oil changes. This car has options that I like, and significantly, the back seat seems to have more room than the 2009. Without seeing the car ... Re: 2007 750Li Individual [Mr_Shiftright]
Car was delivered from dealership yesterday to our home yesterday. Looks great, especially the Jet Black exterior over Platinum interior with piano black trim and rear entertainment package, night vision etc. Think it has every available option except for seat massage. The "BMW Individual" door sill is especially exclusive and I also got the CPO with extended ... Read More...

BMW 750 Lease
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my experience in Virginia. I have a 2007 BMW 530xi coming off lease in the next month or so. Although I was happy with my car, I was looking to upgrade. I was really just looking to get another one but there was a 2009 750 loaded and on the lot. The dealership was ready to deal. It was fully loaded for an MSRP of 96,000. They were ... Read More...
7 SERIES 2010
I am currently leasing a 2007 750 LI with only 12,000 miles on it, the lease expires mid October. I have dealt with my current dealership in NJ since the early 90's, leasing every 3 years. I have been 100% happy with all my 7 series BMW's, as well as the dealership/salesman. When inquiring regarding the exact same features in the 2010 BMW 750 LI with AWD, I have been ... Read More...
BMW 7-Series Maintenance and Repair
Re: Help me analyze the options here [Mr_Shiftright]
">Yea - you asked the right question. Now what the guy offered to be was $2999 for a 2 year maintaince plan post the 50K maintainence expiration. That covers me through 2013. Now I hear that the brakes, rotors, oil change and windshield wipers cost a fortune for the 750. They should easily exceed 2999 if they break - which I am guessing they will. So its a no brainer. ... Re: Help me analyze the options here [Mr_Shiftright]
Hi - I have asked for the breakup of the maintainence plan - its called "BMW Ultimate or Elite". Now I do have this maintainence plan until mid-2011 since the original warranty does not expire until then (this is a 2007 750Li). The pre-owned warranty kicks in after 2011 but the maintainence plan expires mid-2011 and will need to be bought for the period 2011 to 2013 ... Read More...
Re: Help me analyze the options here [pfreak76]
I hate to blanket a car with a bad reputation, because things change year to year. What I can say with assurance is that earlier 750s have been problem-ridden and sometimes make it to the "worst used cars" lists. Part of this came from the V-12 engine, which now of course is a 760 option, not a 750 option. How much of all the earlier issues BMW has squared away by 2007, ... Read More...
Re: Help me analyze the options here [Mr_Shiftright]
Okay - I am going to checkout the 2007 I mentioned above. Thanks for all the tips so far. BTW - is the 750Li really as bad as some people refer to? I see sharply contrasting responses from people. It seems like some peope have had no issues, while others see frequent transmission/engine problems. I wonder why this car would have so many more issues compared to a high ... Read More...
