2005 BMW 7 Series Sedan 760i 4dr Sedan (6.0L 12cyl 6A)

Review

This car is truly amazing. It drives and feels like a much smaller car. Acceleration, cornering and braking are outstanding. I was worried about this car from all the reviews on the i- drive. Don't listen to the complaints; it takes a while to learn but is very simple and intuitive. I can navigate through the entire system while driving easily. You can just try to figure it out while you drive.

Best Features

Too many to list. Lots of great technical features, many of which you may not use much or pay attention to. The bottom line: get behind the wheel and take it to a curvy road and you forget about everything else.

Worst Features

For the price this car should be configured for bluetooth. The phones are out of date by the time you get the car and very expensive to replace from BMW.

Review

The BMW 760i is arguably the best buy that I have made. Although the styling is a complete change from the beloved previous-gen 7er, it remains a statement to the trust and courage of BMW. Cruising down the highway is no problem, and at 100 mph on the Texas panhandle with all your friends, nothing can be more enjoyable (exept on the autobahn, of course)

Best Features

-engine -transmission -bold styling -luxury -high technology -AND EVERYTHING ELSE!

Worst Features

Although I have no problem with the iDrive, a more user-friendly version will be most welcome for the general, untechnofied public.

Review

This is the ultimate driving machine. The idrive is fun and despite other reviews, user friendly. The ride is exhilerating and offers handling surpassing other cars in its class. I found the seating adjustments a little difficult to comfort my 6' plus frame when compared to the A8. The premiun sound system is great and easy to control.

Best Features

The ride and idrive

Worst Features

The major downside which I hope they correct is the inability to easily manually control the transmission. You first have to click into the manual mode (two clicks of the switch) before being able to hit the downshift button on the steering wheel.

Review

the car so-so but stay away from Weatherford BMW of Berkeley this was a horrible experience. I will never go back there again. I don't think I'll ever buy a BMW after dealing with Weatherford BMW.

Best Features

selling the car for a Mercedes.

Worst Features

not reliable; Weatherford BMW of Berkeley a big diassapointment, high pressure
