Peper, the 2008 328i costed that much new! Therefore, they should have a selling price to be a couple of thousand$ less! I do not know exactly what the price was, but I have leased 2008 328i with metallic paint and BMW Assist, MSRP of $34,400, which cap value, i.e., selling price, came to be $32,400. I went to the dealer today to look for the 2008-335 convertible. The MSRP is 59,900. They offered me 54,400. Is it the good amount to buy or can it be lower? Well, it seems my 08 335i (manual with sports package) may have also fallen victim to HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) failure. I took the car in yesterday because for the past two-three days, ignition times have been intermittently taking upward of 5 to 7 seconds. hello rchardqa, actually, I've never considered a 3 series without sports package for the following reasons: 1.) never test driven a non-sports package car to compare them back to back.. The key point is that the SULEV engines have the fuel pump\filter SEALED in the gas tank. I have no problem with the pump being in the tank, the problem I have is that it is non serviceable w\o replacing the entire tank. The SULEV engines are shipped and sold in NY, CA, VT, MA, and ME. Egad, you're down 13k now but you want to put yourself down even more? The Acura's taken its massive depreciation hit already. Hold onto it for another year. By then you'll be closer to right-side up on it and your local BMW dealer will be hurting even more. Track how much you spend on maintenance over the next year. Hello, newbie to the forum (first post). Looking at possibly leasing a 328i and basically got quoted the current lease offers off of the bmw website. Also offered me a 2008 4dr Sdn 328i that is fully loaded with all options except navigation (premium, sport, xenon, etc....) The other important point I want to make is that a 2009 335I is going to cost $2025 more more if you want the Logic 7 (+875, it has become an option!) and the sport package (+300, a previously optional trim line was added) as well as a $800 base price increase.
