My vote would be Orient Blue -- it's a bit less common than black, and may show swirl marks, etc. a it less (anyway, my wife wanted it, so she got it). It's a beautiful color, IMHO. rjg96... You appear to have very high standards. Methinks you might be a bit too picky and a bit unrealistic. I've got a 323iA and a 540i6. While I totally agree with you that BMW needs to address these niggling issues like squeaks, rattles, etc. think both the 3 and 5 Series share many of them.
