Interior seems a bit cheap. Cupholders
are a joke. Gas mileage is sad for a
car of this size and power.
Bought this 4-banging hard runner as a pup and have put all 89,000 miles on it in a variety of environments. I run it daily on n 11-miles commute, and then again have put as many 32,000 miles on it during one year (1998). It's a blast to drive, has never let me down, and I still get questions as if it were brand new - there just aren't that many around.
BMW looks, high-revvin and smooth sounding engine, confident handling in turns, quick off the start, reasonably good fuel economy.
Weather strip on rear deck poorly designed, needs more air conditioning capacity, in-dash CD rather than trucnk mount.
