The pair was tapped for SEMA to "showcase distinctively fresh designs paying homage to the brand's racing heritage and awakened design direction," the company said in a statement.
The 2014 Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 Club Sport Concepts get a motorsport-inspired motif of neutral grays, blacks and reds. The design is supposed to evoke a speeding car.
The Club Sport 6 Concept is equipped with the European-spec Skyactiv-D 2.2-liter turbodiesel. The exterior gets custom Club Sport graphics, a Mazda Design custom accessory aero kit with front rear and side diffusers and a rear spoiler.
The Club Sport 3 Concept gets a Mazda Design-exclusive Slate White exterior paint treatment and Metallic Silver lines. It also gets a Mazda Design accessory aero kit with a new rear spoiler style. The aero kit will be optional on all 2014 Mazda 3 cars sold worldwide, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
The 2014 Mazda Vector 3 Concept gets Rays Volks Racing Original G25 19-inch wheels and an H&R spring kit. It also features custom Deep Crimson paint.
The 2014 Mazda Ceramic 6 Concept gets Ceramic White exterior paint with Taupe Silver accent stripes. Other details include 20-inch wheels finished in Taupe Silver. An H&R spring kit, a Racing Beat custom dual exhaust and custom Brembo brakes round out the package.
The cabin is designed to look like a Milan fashion studio or high-end shopping areas in California, said Mazda. "The Ceramic 6 is reminiscent of Rodeo Drive."
