- Mazda released four images ahead of the 2013 SEMA Show.
- The photos show two different Mazda 6s, as well as hatch and sedan variants of the Mazda 3.
- No specifics were provided.
On Monday, Mazda issued four images, but no details about the cars. The photos show two different Mazda 6s, as well as hatch and sedan variants of the Mazda 3.
The Japanese automaker kicks off with a conservative tune of a white Mazda 6 that includes a custom paint job with unique pinstripe graphics and 10-spoke silver alloy wheels.
The second car, a gunmetal Mazda 6, includes "CS6 Diesel" markings that signify a diesel drivetrain. A full ground effects kit, lowered suspension and large wheels with red calipers behind them are also visible.
Presumably, the car is equipped with the company's Skyactiv-D engine.
The Mazda 3 sedan is covered in a zigzag graphics pattern and gets what appears to be a carbon-fiber body kit, low-profile tires surrounding graphite rims and a lower suspension.
The Mazda 3 hatch puts a motorsport twist on the same theme, featuring a large number "3" graphic on the door.
Performance modifications for the four Mazda showcars are currently unknown.
Edmunds says: Mazda provides some clean, yet aggressive tunes for the 2013 SEMA Show.
