LAS VEGAS — The special Kia Rio five-door built for Aquaman features a body kit with custom-fabricated fins and a trident mounted in the grille. It debuted at the 2012 SEMA Show.

The Aquaman Kia Rio five-door gets an aquatic look with special gold, green and orange exterior paint and a headliner in green suede.

The wraps were also taken off the Green Lantern-inspired Kia Soul, which gets customized foglights and a custom rear cargo hold that houses the Green Lantern power battery.

Kia also showed off the Cyborg-inspired Kia Forte five-door, which gets an Aztec silver paint job that matches the polished steel of Cyborg's armor. Other touches include 18-inch Rotiform TMB wheels with red anodized bolts and side ports with red LED lights.

The Flash was not forgotten in this superhero extravaganza. The Flash is paired with the Kia Forte Koup, which gets a red, orange and yellow exterior that matches the trademark costume of the world's fastest man. Other details include a custom coil-over suspension and a hood cutout.

Kia had earlier revealed the Batman Optima SX Limited.

Kia said more superhero vehicles are in the pipeline. Yet to be revealed are the rides for Wonder Woman, Superman and a final vehicle that will feature all seven characters of the Justice League. That vehicle will be auctioned off to benefit the "We Can Be Heroes" campaign.

Edmunds says: What is left unsaid is whether Aquaman is speedier in the water or behind the wheel.
