  • With its rich 110-year motorsports history as a backdrop, Ford will spotlight tuner editions of the Focus and Fiesta at the upcoming SEMA show.

DEARBORN, Michigan — With its rich 110-year motorsports history as a backdrop, Ford will spotlight tuner editions of the Focus and Fiesta at the upcoming 2011 SEMA Show.

Ford is planning to show at least seven different versions of the 2012 Focus sedan and hatchback, from such customizers as Roush, 3dCarbon, ID Agency, Capaldi Racing, Steeda, Bojix Design and COBB Tuning.

At least three versions of the 2012 Fiesta, from M2-Motoring, Gold Coast Automotive and Aaron Vaccar, also will be on display.

Referring to the customized editions of the new Focus, Mike Murphy, Ford's compact car marketing manager, said: "Millennials, which this car is all about, want to personalize every aspect of their lives — everything from laptop covers to body art and even cars."

Ford also plans to reveal new performance versions of the Mustang and other products, as well as a new 363-cubic-inch Ford Racing stroker V8.
