2011 SEMA ShowJust the Facts:
- The Chrysler Group and Italian parent Fiat plan to display more than 30 "Moparized" vehicles at the upcoming SEMA show.
- The Chrysler display includes a pair of customized Fiat Cinquecentos — the 500 Titanium and the 500 Carbon.
- Dodge display vehicles include the Durango Tow Hook and the Challenger SRT8 ACR.
The modified Cinquecentos include the 500 Titanium and the 500 Carbon.
The 500 Titanium features a new front fascia, grille, LED foglamps, projector headlamps with gloss-black surrounds, 16-inch two-piece alloy wheels finished in matte titanium, lowering springs, larger brake rotors with calipers finished in matte titanium, side skirts, liftgate spoiler, rear diffuser shrouding a center-mounted trapezoidal exhaust tip, plus matte-titanium-finish door handles and mirror caps. The interior is trimmed with titanium metallic accents and is equipped with sport seats in black leather and vinyl.
The 500 Carbon is based on the 2012 Fiat 500 Sport, finished in Anodized Azzurro with black trim inside and out. Highlights include satin-finish carbon-fiber chin and liftgate spoilers, projector headlamps finished in dark black and 17-inch alloy wheels in dark black with 205/40R17 performance tires. As with the 500 Titanium, the 500 Carbon gets Mopar lowering springs, a strut-tower brace and cold-air intake. Among the additional features are a carbon-fiber exhaust tip with Mopar cat-back exhaust and a blacked-out cabin with Anodized Azzurro, black chrome and carbon-fiber accents.
At the other end of the size spectrum is a Ram 392 Quick Silver truck, so named for its triple-silver paint scheme. Based on the 2011 Ram R/T, the big pickup has a 392 Hemi V8 rated at 470 horsepower, coupled with a high-stall torque converter, tall 4.10 gearset, cold-air intake and custom headers with electronic exhaust cutout. Brembo brakes with six-pot calipers and 15-inch vented rotors, lowered suspension, 22-inch wheels and tires, Mopar body kit and Katzkin leather seats are among the upgrades.
Dodge display models at SEMA include the Challenger SRT8 ACR and the Durango Tow Hook.
The Challenger SRT8 ACR gets a full package of Mopar go-fast goodies, including coil-over suspension, front and rear strut-tower braces, short-throw shifter, front splitter, cat-back exhaust, custom exhaust headers, carbon-fiber body panels, a set of Goodyear F1 Supercar performance tires, racing bucket seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
The Durango Tow Hook features a fancy orange-and-black paint scheme inside and out, plus 22-inch wheels and tires, lower ride height, aluminum pedals and Katzkin leather seats.
