PARIS — The 2013 Toyota Yaris Trend, which targets the Fiat 500, will debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show.
Blacked-out B- and C-pillars are the main styling twist on the 2013 Toyota Yaris Trend. Toyota said in a statement that the Yaris Trend is designed to appeal to "younger, design-conscious customers." The Fiat 500, which even features a Gucci edition, has been the style leader in its segment.
Toyota did not respond immediately to a query from Edmunds asking for launch date and pricing on the Yaris Trend.
Other details on the Yaris Trend include chrome door sills, two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, a roof spoiler and LED exterior lights. The cabin gets a black-and-white theme with softer fabrics.
Edmunds says: The Toyota Yaris Trend is designed to be a fashion statement, but will the changes be enough to draw customers away from the Fiat 500?
