GOODWOOD, England — Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, taking a breather from a fairly steady stream of new-model introductions, will focus instead on showcasing its personalization program at the 2010 Paris Auto Show.
Rolls-Royce, part of the BMW group, will display five bespoke models, including a Phantom Extended Wheelbase in Gunmetal metallic with Sunrise leather interior, as well as a Carrara White metallic Phantom Drophead Coupe with Hotspur Red leather interior. The company also plans to show a Phantom Coupe and two bespoke versions of the new Ghost.
The one-off Phantom Extended Wheelbase features such bespoke interior design elements as seat piping; white instrument dials, control dials and clock face with mother-of-pearl centers; Rolls-Royce monogram embroidery in all head restraints; and personalized tread plates inscribed with Mondial de l'Automobile Paris 2010.
Rolls-Royce said it also plans to display an exclusive four-person picnic set.
