Official sketches were released on the brand's Facebook page. The brief announcement read: "Ever seen a Mini on two wheels? Be the first to see an electric vision of the future as urban mobility by MINI takes a new direction. Keep your eyes open for the world premiere at the Paris Motor Show 2010."
Several European Web sites said the Scooter E is a plug-in two-wheeler that will use lithium-ion batteries, with an effective range of 100 kilometers, or just over 60 miles.
