Come the end of September, the 2010 Paris Auto Show will be the talk of the automotive industry. As the first major auto show of the upcoming season, it's the first chance for all the world's automakers to show off their new stuff.
And show off they will, as the Paris Motor Show is known for its flashy style and international flavor. This year will be no exception, as several high-profile introductions are expected. Take the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS, for instance. Although it's already had an early Internet debut, the new four-door coupe will make its first public showing at the Paris show. We expect to see a similar car from Audi in the form of the S7, a high-performance version of the A7 that was revealed earlier this summer.
Not to be left out of the German fun, BMW may finally take the wraps off its much-anticipated 6 Series coupe and convertible, while Porsche may show another evolution of its Cayman coupe. Other notable cars that are confirmed for the 2010 Paris Auto Show include the reskinned Bentley Continental GT, an automatic-equipped version of the Lotus Evora and a kooky-looking Kia concept named the Pop. Coverage starts on September 30, so check back then for all the latest from Europe's only major auto show this fall.
