GENEVA — The production version of the McLaren P1 will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, McLaren confirmed on Wednesday.
McLaren also confirmed that the P1 will get a race-inspired digital dash readout.
A new McLaren video on YouTube shows the digital dash readout in action.
"The visuals demonstrate what the driver will see as the McLaren P1 transitions into a fully-focused track car," said McLaren in a statement. "On selecting Race mode, the large double element adjustable 'active' rear wing extends, and the pitch of the wing alters into an optimal aerodynamic position.
"In Race mode, the screen includes a bank of lights across the top, which illuminate green, followed by red and finally blue. These act as a shift indicator, as in a Formula 1 car."
Although the global automotive media continues to speculate that the P1's price tag will exceed the $1 million mark, McLaren's U.S. spokeswoman Michele Shapiro told Edmunds that no pricing has been announced.
The production version of the McLaren P1 will be unveiled on March 5.
Edmunds says: The wraps are slowly coming off the McLaren P1, with this latest look at the supercar's interior.
