GENEVA — The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale will make its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.

The four-passenger GranTurismo MC Stradale will not be sold in the United States, Maserati's U.S. arm told Edmunds on Wednesday.

"We will continue with the GranTurismo MC," said Jeffrey Ehoodin, a Maserati spokesman. "The difference is we will not have the sequential manual gearbox nor the carbon ceramic brakes."

The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale is equipped with the same 460-horsepower 4.7-liter V8 engine as the Maserati GranTurismo Sport. The engine is linked to a six-speed manual transmission. The MC Stradale features a redesigned carbon-fiber hood framing a central air intake, along with dual exhaust pipes and new 20-inch forged alloy wheels.

The GranTurismo MC Stradale has a top speed of 188 mph.

Pricing and launch timing in Europe were not announced.

Edmunds says: American GranTurismo drivers will continue to make do with the GranTurismo MC's automatic transmission.
