SEOUL, South Korea — A new Kia urban concept car, which was teased on Wednesday ahead of the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, may preview the Korean automaker's new Nissan Juke fighter.

Kia offered little official word on the unnamed concept, saying only that it was designed to be "provocative and racy."

"With the company's signature tiger-nose morphing into a mischievous, yet friendly, grille and headlight arrangement, coupled with strong styling lines that exude speed and energy from every angle, Kia's newest concept vehicle is guaranteed to attract attention," said Kia in a statement.

The Kia concept features bulging wheel arches and a low front end, with sleeker lines than the Kia Soul. A Kia source told Edmunds that the concept is not expected to replace the Soul. A redesigned version of the Soul may be unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show, the source said.

Edmunds says: A version of the new Kia concept could be in your driveway before too long.
