LONDON — The Honda Civic Wagon concept, which bears a strong resemblance to the Honda Crosstour, will debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.

Honda said the concept "provides strong cues for the exterior design of the final mass-produced version."

The production Civic Wagon is expected to go on sale in Europe at the end of 2013. It will not be among the Civic variants in U.S. showrooms.

"No, a Civic Wagon won't be sold in the U.S.," wrote Sage Marie, an American Honda Motor Co. spokesman, in response to a query from Edmunds on Wednesday.

European media is speculating that the Civic Wagon may be called the Civic Aerodeck. A sketch of the concept version shows a sloping roof line and a hidden rear door handle that gives the wagon a coupelike look. The production Civic Wagon is expected to get a range of gasoline and diesel engines.

Edmunds says: You won't see this version of the Honda Civic in your driveway.
