GOODWOOD, England — The second glimpse of the 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith was revealed on Tuesday ahead of the luxury car's debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.

Although the image is darkened, the Wraith appears to get a fastback look and a more sporting character than the Phantom Coupe.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith is based on a shortened-wheelbase version of the steel-bodied Ghost platform.

Rolls-Royce said in a statement that accompanied the second image that the car holds the "promise of dynamism."

The Wraith is expected to be the most powerful and fastest Rolls-Royce offered. Word is that the twin-turbo V12 engine of the Wraith develops over 600 horsepower.

The first teaser image of the Wraith showed a semi-exposed silhouette, indicating that the car will provide seating for four passengers.

Edmunds says: As each teaser image is revealed, it becomes clearer that the Wraith takes Rolls-Royce down a more sporting path.
