TURIN, Italy — Pininfarina's Cambiano concept, an environmentally sport sedan, is named for the company's headquarters city outside Turin. The concept was teased on the famed coachbuilder's Facebook page, ahead of its world debut at the annual 2012 Geneva Auto Show.
Pininfarina built its Styling Center in Cambiano in 1982 and an Engineering Center there in 2002. The Cambiano concept is intended to mark the anniversaries of both, the company said.
In a brief statement, Pininfarina said the car is "an elegant and refined sport sedan, conceived with great attention to the environment, both as to the engine and as to the materials' choice."
