STUTTGART, Germany — The first factory images of the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe have been leaked on European Web sites, ahead of the car's scheduled introduction in early March at the annual 2011 Geneva Auto Show.
The new two-door shares much of its front-end styling with the face-lifted C-Class Sedan that is being formally launched next week at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. But the coupe's sheet metal from the A-pillar aft appears to be unique.
The C-Class Coupe is expected to share most powertrains with the sedan. European Web sites, including Auto Bild, are speculating that Mercedes will offer both Black Series and AMG editions of the new two-door.
