TORRANCE, California — Toyota released another teaser image of the Toyota Furia Concept on Wednesday ahead of the car's debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

The Furia Concept may preview the 2014 Toyota Corolla.

The new teaser image shows the car's taillight and indicates that Toyota may be willing to take more risks with the design of the car that targets the Honda Civic and Ford Focus.

Toyota has described the car as an "exciting sedan concept." An earlier teaser video showed such details as a rear lip spoiler, LED lights and what appears to be carbon-fiber trim.

The concept will be unveiled on January 14 and broadcast live online. Toyota said it will be revealed using a custom-built structure housing 30 of Samsung Display's new 46-inch transparent LCD screens. Toyota said it will be the first auto company to use this technology to reveal a vehicle at a major international show.

Edmunds says: Another early look at the future Corolla.
