DETROIT — First shown as a concept at the 2010 Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, the Baja-inspired Mopar Ram Runner will anchor the Ram truck stand next week at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. Mopar said Thursday it will begin production of the Ram Runner parts package in March.
Ram 1500 buyers can choose from one of two suspension kits: the $3,129 Stage 1 Pre-Runner kit or the $13,270 Stage 2 Ram Runner kit.
Exterior bits include fiberglass front fenders ($1,020) and rear fenders ($1,350), front bumper ($1,250), tubular tire carrier ($1,010), sport performance hood ($978), cold-air intake system ($466) and cat-back exhaust system ($1,135).
