I have owned every high end car one can drive. The BMW 3-, 5-, and 7-Series, Lexus, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and this is my favorite car. Aside from the heads turning when you pass by, this car is a blast to drive. The handling is similar to a BMW, you feel safe, the interior is what you expect from a sports car. After four years this car with 50,000 miles still looks new inside and out. If you want to feel alive this is the car to drive.

My 2005 Auti TT is the greatest car that I've ever owned. I also own a '66 Jaguar E-Type and a '52 Jaguar XK120, so I know great cars. The quattro all wheel drive is just unbelievable. Nothing can stay with it on a twisty road. The gas mileage is great for a sportscar, I average 30 mpg. I still never get tired of looking at it, it has the best interior in the business. Having said this, I had a fuel pump go out at 50,000 miles, which was inexcuseable. Other than that, i've enjoyed the ownership experience. I plan on getting another TT in four years, most likely the straight 6.
Favorite Features
interior, exterior, paint finish, all wheel drive
Suggested Improvements
The exterior and interior can't be improved. Everyone seems to have problem with fuel gauge malfunctioning and windows loosing their memory. This should be addressd. The road noice inside car is really loud, the cabin should be quieter, a free flow exhaust should be included.

Great ride. All wheel drive with regular tires great in rain/snow. New tiptronic is a blast. Hope no design problems with this new system as dealer just had to replace transmission. First to second gear was grinding with only 9000 miles on car. Tiptronic stays in gear past red line and doesn't change, be careful.

This car is just plain fun! I smile every time I drive it, heck, even when I look at it. My wife says it is more comfortable to ride in on a road trip that our Volvo. My little 180hp engine has all the pep I'll ever need and gives me 34MPG on the freeway. The trunk storage space is amazing, great for trips. Also a neat city car to get into parking spaces. The back seat is just a great place to keep stuff you want handy, and once in a while you fold it down as you now have a mini-wagon. Only problem was the airconditioner went out on a hot day, they fixed right away and has been fine. I'm not really a car nut, but I'm nuts about this car.

Love the interior and exterior styling. So much fun to drive. The automatic/manual transmission is great. Ride comfort is surprisingly good.

Don't buy this car if you purchase for convience of the cup holders. Maybe a power seat would be nice. I'D LOVE TO HAVE A SUNROOF!

Review
The '05 Audi TT is a truly exemplory car. It is a supurb driverr's car with outstanding handling. The Quattro drive must be experienced to be believed . It is like riding on a track no matter the rain conditions. It is strongly recommended that a sports car winter tire be used durng snow season, e.g. Blizzak. With those tires, even the Audi convertible is a great year round car in most regions.

This car is extraordinary in ever respect. While the curb weight errs on the heavy side, most of the weight reflects safety features rarely found in a sports car. A sound trade off given the acceleration stats of the vehicle. However, the "best" feature is the car's roadability - like driving on a RR track. It is amazing how well this car hold the road. However, you must get winter snow tires or wheels as (with other sportscars) high speed performance tires don't have the necessary grip.

I still get excited every single time I get into this car. It is such a joy to drive and this thing can really fly if you spend about $500 on a performance chip. But anyway, it turns heads and is just a blast to drive. It is so unique.
Favorite Features
The Quattro performance, the interior and exterior design.

How can you improve perfection? I find it very roomy in the front two seats and obviously the back two are a joke. But I have fit 4 adults into it more then once.

Performance: Along with the introduction of V6 engine in TT, the biggest highlight has to be DSG or Direct Shift Gearbox tranny. This tranny has 2 clutches: 1st clutch for gear 1-3-5 and 2nd clutch for gear 2-4- 6. The result is a shifting speed that is quicker than any stick shift available anywhere on the market. This sequential gearbox also has very smooth and linear during gear transitions.

This was my mid-life crisis car, and it is the most fun I have ever had driving.

It is cute... and easy to handle.

I had to add my own headrest piece, the headrest is not adjustable, and I am very short, my head hit the metal struts. I took it to an upholster, for $200 I have headrests that are complete.
