I have always owned GM products, now I see the reason people are buying the foreign autos, I love the head and leg room, the fuel economy, the sheer performance of this little 4 cylinder, manual/automatic car. 130 MPH smooth as silk in my 180 HP weeney model, it is pure fun, my wife and me have had more fun with this car than any car, bike, truck or camper we own,

Favorite Features

Manual/automatic transmission, real roll bars, 5 star side crash rating, large trunk, power top operation is quick and easy

Suggested Improvements

Cup holders need moved. needs a center arm rest.

Awesome Car that needs very little

Review

I have had my 3.2 TT DSG for about 6 months now. It is an excellent vehicle both in design and function. A thrill to drive everyday. Great handling characteristics with the quattro system. The DSG and the 3.2 coupled together works smoothly in conjunction with each other matching speed to the revs of the engine for no jerking motions as in a normal stick shift. Nothing like feeling the car might be out of position in the corner and knowing you need to give it more gas and not braking to pull thru it.

Favorite Features

Quattro system, DSG transmission, Interior quality in both fit and finish, elegant lines, seemless shifts, Handling, and intial exhaust note at start up.

Suggested Improvements

Only a few improvements could be made. A bit more Horsepower and torque could be added for the intial burst off the line. (Especially since the US Audi Lawyers made Audi pull out the Launch Program). A power seat would be nice. Audio controls on steer wheel. Want to keep the radio cover down!

The best vehicle that I have ever been in? No. The best vehicle that I have ever owned or driven? Absolutely!! More fun than I could have believed. After my wife and I test drove a tt 225 coupe we agreed that this was the car that we had to have. It is everything that I had hoped for. Responsive, fast, nimble, very comfortable and also very cool. Our tt turns heads and puts smiles on the faces of everyone who rides in it or who dares to drive it. Do not test drive this car unless you are ready to purchase one. From the crisp Bose sound system to the heated seats this car is luxury and sport come together with just the right blend. All wheel drive, 100+ MPH & city streets at 27 MPG!

Favorite Features

Smooth shifting, great acceleration, very comfortable seats and an awesome sound system. Gently touch the gas at any speed 10 - 100 and you wil be pleasantly surprised with the strong response. Cruise or corner agressively the fun is the same.

Suggested Improvements

More accessible cup holders? I had to get pretty picky to come up with that.

Maybe. . .The DSG is amazing and the car handles so well. I just love the way that it moves. It makes me smile everytime I get in the car, that can be very hard to do in Los Angeles! It really is the greatist.

Needs some work on comfort for example power seats and top should retract into trunk like the SLK. Needs to drop a few pounds too.

The Audi TT is truly a drivers car. Your get great "bang" for your purchasing dollar not only with the TT but wit any Audi product. The TT is responsive to the touch of the gas pedal in any gear and blasts you along the road in style, comfort and look. This is a great performing car that is super on sunny days and will keep you smiling no matter how difficult your day at work was.

Favorite Features

I love the interior look. The simple aluminum finishings are classy yet sporty at the same time. You can be a businessman while driving a sports car and not feel like you are sacrificing luxury.

Suggested Improvements

I would like to see the roof come off easier ie. get rid of the manual cover for the roof. Perhaps make the trunk a little larger if possible.

What's not to like about this car? Even though it's been around for 5 years, it still turns heads. I bought mine a week and a half ago and it looks better every day. It's fun to drive, very comfortable, and not to jarring for a car that handles so well. The fit and finish is excellent and everything is well put together. Build quality is second to none. I look forward to years of exciting commutes to work and can't wait to see what it can do in the snow this winter.

Favorite Features

Interior/exterior design is flawless. Fun to drive factor is high. It turns heads all the time.

Suggested Improvements

Usefull back seats and more power. Tighter suspension for sharper handling.

I bought this car because it reminded me of the old Karmann Ghias. It doesn't drive like one though. Its zippy, powerful and a blast to drive.

Electric top that can be operated with 1 hand.

Suggested Improvements

Its a little slow at the low end of first gear.

What more I can say?! Fun to drive. V6 and DSG push the car to another level. Especially DSG, you have to try it to believe it. So quick and smooth. And the tuned sound from the exhuasts, it makes you feel like you are inside a F1. 4WD takes me anywhere I want to go even a trip to the nearest skiing resort in the winter. So versatile, I can put 2 golf bags at the back (both rear seats have to be folded down) without any problem. Put a car seat at the back(Yes, you can put a car seat at the back. My 2 year old daughter loves to ride in my red TT), it becomes my family sport wagon.

DSG - V6 - 4WD

More horsepower, of course. And please don't change the style.

Review

There are very few cars that have the complete package: styling, performance, and comfort. This car has it all. The shape of this car is a timeless as the 911. No one comes close to the interior styling. There are faster cars, but none of them are as fun to drive. Believe me, I drove every sports car between $35,000 and $60,000 (except the Vette)before I purchased my DSG roadster.

Favorite Features

The DSG is awesome. Smoothest transmission available.

Suggested Improvements

A hard boot for the roadster's top is all this car needs (with the exception of losing a few pounds).

What's not to like about this car. Everything is simply well engineered and designed. From the curves of the body to the comfort of the seats, from the quick acceleration to the superb handling, from the all wheel drive to the ergonomic steering wheel, from the low gas milage to the cool gas cap and so on. This car compares with non other I have driven, and I test drove several other sport coupesin its price range and above. I look forward to driving the car to its limits everyday and I have not found them yet!

Favorite Features

Apart from the looks, and the handling of the car, my favorite feature in this vehicle is that I can drive this car very hard and still get a very reasonable gas milage, about 30 mpg on average.

Suggested Improvements

Audi has outdone themselves with this car, my only wish is that the interior would accomodate me a little better since I'm 6'6", but, I cannot complain but the people in the back do!
