Good Beats Bad

I bought mine used with 63xxx and in impeccable shape. With or without the top down, you get noticed in this car, a lot. The car handles extremely well, especially at higher speeds. The engine purrs, but does not have a strong kick at the starting gate. The ride is harsh and noisy. Lots of metal rattles underneath and in the rear, none of which the dealer can figure out! Heating/cooling and stereo are outstanding. Bottom line: the good far outweighs the negative.

I purchased a certified, brilliant red roadster 180 FWD automatic just for fun. What a great little vehicle. Love to cruise around as I don't see many other TT's in South Dakota ! People ask about it all the time ... red color really helps.

I selected this vehicle because of it's unique design and available performance upgrade options. In my opinion, audi is one of the most innovative automakers and I respect their innovation in producing vehicles such as the TT and the Lemans concept.

This hot little sportster is a eye catching whiz. Everybody looks, everybody wants to know how much it is! I have only one problem--the tilt wheel does not move the wheel far enough down or up as other car models do. Other than that the car is packed with fun accessories and a nice little learning curve on how to use them!

TT after 3 months

I purchased this car as a 25th wedding anniversary present for my wife. She typically doesn't get excited about cars, but really went crazy over the TT. I've had various convertibles for over 17 years. I drove a Z4 and and a Boxster (tiptronic) for comparison. TT won out on styling, interior quality and what I would label as 80% driving - that stuff we all do during our daily trips around town. Z4 was a close competitor, but I just couldn't get used to the looks. Boxster (with tiptronic) was a dog to drive around town, and it's interior was pretty spartan (read cheap looking) compared to the other two.

Power plant is acceptable for this kind of vehicle. Performance is great... acceleration is superb, although scary. DMV threat me with revoking my license is I get another fine. It cruises at 80 mph with no effort. Style and design provokes in others curiosity and admiration. It's a simple fun to drive and owned german roadster. I will not have it any other way!

This car is very thoughtfully designed. I was comparing it with the Boxster, which I thought had an edge on the exterior styling but the TT's interior styling is nicer. Plus, I get a lot more car for less money -- rear glass window, retractable rear wind deflector. And I love the silver cover on the audio system. It's such a nice touch. The construction is very solid. You can tell when you close the doors and trunk. It's very solid.

Loved the styling at first sight, but what really sold us was the comfortable, roomy interior when we took it out for a test drive! WOW! It's just what we wanted in a convertible, quick, easy, lots of FUN. Not a copycat design; has all the features you could want for comfort and convinence. The maintenance plan was a big plus too. The seats hold you in while you're doing those impossible sharp turns...those tires really hold on tight and no body roll to speak of. Driving it everyday to and fron work with the sun and wind in my hair is a great attitude adjuster...LIFE IS GOOD!
