Jerking at stops
I just picked up a new 2009 q5 premium plus (left over). Has anyone had any experience with the car jerking when almost at a stop? And then jerk a bit again when just starting to accelerate? It is slight, but it is annoying. Wonder if there is a problem or if Audis are known for this. It is my first. I also find if I take my foot off the brake to inch up, I jerk a little again, ... Audi Q5 Prices Paid and Buying Experience
Re: Audi customer service [slavigula]
I should not dignify that note with a response but I am compelled. I did not want to write a treatise initially and was hoping readers could read between the lines, First, I was not comparing sales of the RX with the Q5. I was merely stating that Audi cannot keep up with demand of the Q5. Why is a good question but not for here. I know the RX is selling extremely well both ... Read More...
Re: Q5 buying in New york area. [dwdm]
so far it was smooth . Understand it was the last Q5 2009 in the lot!!, so I had some room to negotiate with them. Trust me they not giving nothing for free. But does'nt hurt to try. Don't show yourself too desperate and don't rush it. Make sure you get what you want. Just curious what are you looking for ?, how much sticker price ? how much are they offering you?.. No audi ... Q5 Lease Offer
Hey Carman, Below is the advertised lease offer on a premium plus Q5. Tried to back out the numbers and with 0.00108 MF and 51% residual it looks like audi took $1250 off MSRP of $42,225. I will need to do 12K miles instead of 10K so I took residual down to 50% and the payment is about 12 dollars higher. How much better you think we can do here? Thanks for the advice on the ... 2009 Prestige package Ibis white
I bought a 2009 Prestige package the last week of July. The dealer showed me a 2009 Prestige model, which was a demo (450 miles) and must have been on the lot for a couple of months. MSRP 49.025, Invoice (Edmunds) $45,651- TMV $46,641. I called over 10 Audi dealers and they all said they had little or no 2009's and only a few 2010's in Premium Plus, and almost no Prestige ... Re: My 2 Cents WAIT for 2010 inventory to build [kerryjth]
I see 2010's building each day. Tried to buy a 2009 Premium plus locally but they had added $1,000 with audi care, nitrogen for life...so I did not even try. Regardless, I found a 6 week old Q5 in silver/black on autotrader from a lady with buyers remorse. REgardless, I bought the car for $37,250 with less than 2,000 miles. She was happy, I am happy. The car has no issues ... Read More...
Mission Impossible.
Congrats to all with their new Q5's. I can't seem to get one. It started back in July. I called place after place without a call back. I sent request after request from different sites and nothing. I eventually called Audi US headquarters and said that for $45k I expected to be treated better. A guy from Audi Manhattan called within 30 minutes and left a voice mail. ... Read More...

2009 Q5 Prestige AWESOME!
I have owned the Q5 for 3 weeks, and it is fun, fun, fun! In sport mode it drives like a sport sedan. Nothing like the MDX that I still own. The MMI system takes time to learn and understand, however, the easy voice commands are fantastic. The driver information system on the front panel is easy to read.. The free traffic reports and dynamic routing NAV system is better ... Read More...

Re: Q5 lease [womble]
You're welcome, womble. It's tough to generalize about when the best time to lease is. We are rapidly approaching the end of the 2009 model year. Vehicles' residual values gradually fall as the model year progresses. Manufacturers usually offset this drop in residuals by lowering the money factor that they charge on vehicles. However, it eventually gets to ... Read More...
