2002 Audi allroad quattro AWD 4dr Wagon (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 6M)

Review

the car is very sporty-a good small
wagon with good rear leg room and
great dash layout. Does well in snow
with quattro system. Fuel economy
could be better and it takes mid-grade-
89octane or better fuel. been getting
about 19.5mpg avg. hwy/city mix-up to
23 mpg hwy only. Driver leg room a
bit cramped widthwise. The first car
I've owned that is actually fun to
drive.

Best Features

very peppy v-6, great traction and cornering ability. will drive fast and acceleration exceptional.

Worst Features

leg room on drivers side needs to be widened-console hits knee on right leg. more storage room for tools and glove compartment type stuff is limited.

2002 Audi allroad quattro AWD 4dr Wagon (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 6M)

Review

This is an excellent sports wagon,
best-in-breed for a wintertime vehicle,
as well as crusing at 100+ mph. It's
agle, fast, sure-footed, and
well-engineered. This car can take on
the bush or carry a family to the mall
with aplomb. The auto-tranny is good;
the 6-spd. is great! After 10K miles,
reliability has been excellent.

Best Features

Surefooted versatility and performance.

Worst Features

There is an auto-transmission lag when accelerating rapidly from a stop or rolling start.

2002 Audi allroad quattro AWD 4dr Wagon (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 6M)

Review

After a thorough review of sports sedan
vs sport ute, I found the Audi to be
the best hybrid of both. It has the
off road capabilities of any "commuter"
sport ute on the market and the
acceleration and handling of a great
sports sedan. I Love the fact that
many people see it as a "whimpy wagon"
until they're breathing my exhaust as I
fly to 60 in 6.8 seconds :o) After 2K
miles it is performing beutifully. I
hope to enjoy it for the long haul.

Best Features

One word - Accelleration!

Worst Features

A slight stiffening of the suspension would aid even more with the great handling. It is a bit sloppy in the corners, but not at all bad for a 2+ ton wagon.

Review

I use to drive an A4 and then had my
eye on the TT. I had one problem. I
couldn't fit the kids in the TT. The
next best thing was the Audi Allroad.
My kids fell in love with it in the
show room. Now when I go on trips we
take the Allroad and leave the
Windstar at home. It's too much fun
to drive, so why leave it at home.

Best Features

Boss Stereo, memory seats, heated seats front and back. Lots of air bags (8)

Worst Features

More horse power, could use more than 250
