2004 Audi A8 L quattro AWD 4dr Sedan (4.2L 8cyl 6A)
Beautiful car that is so good that it's
faults stand out more than they
otherwise would. I love a big ride,
but this one is so large that
Parktronic should be standard... almost
impossible to park in tight quarters
without it (or without playing bumper
cars). DO NOT BUY WITHOUT IT, despite
its over-sensativity or your assumption
that you can park a car without a
computer (that's me!)
Great looking inside and out without
the "look at me" consumer appeal of BMW
or MB. Ultralux, ultra-comfortable,
especially with the Alcantara interior
upgrade. Basically performs as you
would expect from $75k.
As magazines said, suspension could be
better over high speed bumps--you get
annoying reverberation (18" wheels).
Throttle too sensative starting from
zero. Steering wheel should control
user-stations, not the car-selected
ones. Parktronic should not "alarm"
unless close (1 foot).
