Re: 2007 Acura RL [anon3]

When you get right down to it... almost every accident is the result of human stupidity, carelessness, inattention, or lack of skill. Personally, I don't believe there are any "accidents". Most are "caused" by driver stupidity and lack of skill. Well, the word "accident" just implies that whoever was at fault was not intentionally trying to injure the other ... Read More...

Re: 2007 Acura RL [lexusguy]

Thanks for the input! :) I've definitely heard people say its cold, but to be honest, I don't get that same vibe. I love the exterior design, I always have, its edgy and aggressive. That's not to say I don't love the previous generation 5 series look, its just different. And the interior is fantastic (except for interior storage space) with excellent quality materials ... Re: 2007 Acura RL [mobiusf1]

Great choice, the 535i is a fantastic car, definitely my favorite car in the segment. Very good write up on the various current mid-sizers. I agree with almost all of your points, but I've never been a fan of the current 5. I really liked the old 540i Sport and the old M5, but the current 5 just leaves me cold. Curious, were the A6 models you tested equipped with the sport/S-line ... Read More...

Midsize Luxury Sports Sedans: Great choice, the 535i is a fantastic car, definitely my favorite car in the segment. I picked up a 535xi last summer. After driving all the cars in the segment (except the Jag XF, but I'm not really a Jag fan) I easily picked the 535xi which I was fairly confident I was going to pick when I started. The M35x, although the 2nd best performer ... Read More...

Re: Looking for used Luxury Sedan [clarence10]

Here is my question, i have been test driving 2006/5 RL's with around 35-38k miles and the $22-$24k price range. It seems like a nice car, but it is a bit tighter inside then the M. Does anyone have suggestions for other cars to look at? I really want AWD, and need to transport my family of 4. I assume you're not interested in just buying out your M35X? It seems odd to go ... Audi A6 Maintenance and Repair

Problems with audi a6 tdi (2007)

I own an Audi A6 2.0 TDI. Sometimes, (once a week or so), the engine revs by itself to 1500rpm without any reason. The gearbox is 7 speed auto. This may take from 10 to 20 mins. When you brake and slow down to almost a halt, the engine rpm drops to 1000 (not 900 which is the normal revs). Any idea what is wrong? Read More...

Wrong tires and missing part in a newly purchased vehicle

I purchased a 2007 Audi A6 new last January from XXX X Audi. TPMS light would come on everytime I start the car. Resetting TPMS didn't help. I called Santa Monica Audi and was told to take the car to any Audi service center. I took to car to other dealership and was told horrible things. They said TPMS sensors are not installed and tires are not original tires which should ... Read More...

Re: My guess [jeqq]

I had sent an e-mail to Audi about a year ago regarding the rarity of the 4.2 in the US and was provided with 4.2 sales for MY 2005 and 2006. In 2005 Audi sold approximately 18,000 A6s in the US, with 2,301 being 4.2s (12%) In 2006 Audi sold approximately 16,500 A6s in the US, with 2,204 being 4.2s (13%) In 2007 Audi sold approximately 12,000 A6s in the US, and I am guessing ... BMW 535i vs Lexus GS 350 vs Audi A6

in response to bmw vs audi vs lexus

they are all great cars. currently, i am finishing up my lease on a 2005 A8. A car i absolutely love, but that has been in the shop so many times you can't imagine. All little stuff, all covered by warranty, but nonetheless, I must have had that car in the shop every 6-8 weeks over the course of the 3 years. I have been looking at Bmw 5 series, the a6, and the gs. If the 5 series ... Read More...
