2006 Audi A6 3.2 quattro 4dr Sedan AWD (3.1L 6cyl 6A)
In my opinion, the A6 is the new standard for mid-luxury sedans. Virtually all of its features - including handling, the console control system (MMI), and sleek looks - make driving this car a pure pleasure. Before buying, I compared the A6 to others in its price range, and it came out on top in almost all areas. And among the German-brand sedans, here's my humble opinion: If you want great performance, drive a BMW; if you want a luxurious feel, drive a Mercedes; if you want both, drive an Audi.
Its time-proven quattro system handles extremely well, even in the worst of snowstorms. It's much roomier and comfortable than the pre-2005 A6 and its current competitors. I love the understated styling accented with bold details, such as 17-inch wheels and a gaping-jaw front grill.
Better gas mileage would help, but the A6 compares favorably in MPG with others in its price range, so this is a minor critique of an otherwise complete package of luxury, performance, and reliability.
