I have had the Audi A6 3.2 for several weeks now and
although I generally do not get emotionally involved
with respect to vehicles, the A6 does provide some
joy to the driver. The interior can only be described
as phenomenal with regard to comfort, style and
functionallity; the MMI system is far better than the
BMW Idrive. This is a great car inside and out.
Buyers should read the Audi A6 forum with regard
to tip lag which can be overcome but is a pain. I
drove all of the competitors and this car was the
best in its class,

What an amazing improvement over from the
older model. This machine is like none
other, I have allso driven around in the
new M5 and to my wonder this is a more
dynamic car. It is unlike anything else that I
have had the pleasure of driving. Great
job Audi.

This is the 9th Audi I have owned since
1996.This car is by far the best
vehicle I have ever driven. The car
handles very well. The new 6 speed
transmission is both smooth and firm.
The new interior is sensational and
utilitarian. The 3.2 engine has plenty
of power and git go for me. Audi has
outdone themselves with the new A6. My
car has almost all of the options with
the exception of the sport package and
the 18 inch wheels.

I just picked up my new 2005 Audi A6
3.2. After only about 50 miles the
transmission began to act up. The engine would
race to 7,000 rpm in first gear or would
not shift at all. After parking it in
my driveway for a short time, I could
not back it out because it felt as if
the parking brake was locked.

Almost everything about the car is terrific, except for the ludicrous and unsafe MMI. Previously I had an A8; with the A6 I lost nothing in comfort, feel, looks, or quality. Get the sports suspension, but negotiate to swap the (bundled) 18" wheels for 17" -- they still look nice, and they're safer. I'd prefer better sight lines from the driver's seat -- the high glass and the slope of the car make it impossible to see any corner of the car -- but that's (unfortunately) a common flaw. I test drove the 3.2 and liked it *a lot*, but I found a little hole accelerating from around 25 or 28 MPH, so I popped for the larger engine. A good car -- cross your fingers on reliability.

I watched the pictures & video as they
appeared on the AudiUSA.com web site. I
didn't think the car could look or
drive anywhere near what they
advertised... I was wrong. Once I saw
the new A6, I new I needed to have it!
I traded my '02 A6 4.2 for the '05 -
Its faster, the interior is amazing,
and it handles better than the '02, if
you can believe it.
The redesign finally puts cup holders
where you need them, but they removed
the carpeted door pockets, darn.

I spent a considerable amount of time
researching, reading every review,
test driving as many vehicles as I
could in this class.
I knew from the moment I sat behind
the wheel of the A6 that this was the
car for me.
So far - I've had the car for half a
week - and I have been very impressed
with the ride and pickup of the 3.2L
engine. The distinctive front end and
elegant rear have drawn a lot of looks
and compliments from friends &
strangers.
Although every car in this class has
very similar technology (bluetooth,
nav, RF keys, etc. I have been very
impressed with the integration of this
technology in the A6 - very effective
and valuable while remaining, most
importantly, easy to use

I'm on my 500th mile now and am still
very happy with my decision to purchase
this C6 Audi. What a peppy ride!
Especially in the sport or tiptronic
modes. The outside appearance is very
stylish yet sophisticated IMO. The
interior is elegant and comfortable.
Both driver and passenger seats are
12-way. The sound system (Bose) is
phenominal...better than home!
The MMI is easy to use, and the steering
wheel controls make it even easier. I
have the keyless and nav, both of which
I am more than impressed with.
Overall, a very nice, quality ride. The
"thunk" of the door closing reflects the
quality of build.

This is a great car. Fabulous
styling. Interior is immaculate and
beautiful. The motor is good...plenty
fast for me and great up mountain
passes. Much more stiff than old
Audi's. The sound system is awesome.
The gas mileage could be a bit
better. There is plenty of interior
room. Seats are comfortable. All
the "right" features. It ain't cheap
and you can get very good cars for
$10K less, but it would be hard to
beat this car for the price.
