2002 Audi A6 3.0 Fwd 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl CVT)
We purchased the vehicle two years ago and have had nothing but problems since the purchase. After numerous trips to the repair shop with mechanics guessing solutions to our problems, we have had to replace the following: turn signal switch, ball joints on both sides, three of the six spark plugs and whatever part holds the plugs, the power steering pump, two sets of tires (must replace all four at once on AWD), new brakes and pads. Our next trip, this week, we will be replacing the tie end rods and visiting the power steering issue again. Also, the motor for passenger power window will need replaced. Diagnostics are expensive as are the parts and labor. I will never buy Audi again.
Favorite Features
When it is not in the repair shop, it is a pleasure to drive.
Suggested Improvements
Improve the heating and air conditioning in the rear passenger area.

You have V6 not a V8. If you have 6 spark plugs. Either way, you don't know what you're talking about. The V6 (2.7T) was notoriously unreliable, whereas the V8 (4.2) is one of the most robust and bulletproof engines ever produced and put in an Audi. Or any car for that matter.
