I have a 1999 Audi A6 and I was told by my Audi mechanic that the transmission fluid/filter can only be changed by removing the transmission casing and adding fluid. You should be able to find a maintenance book at a site called partstrain.com or on ebay. Read More...

What engine did you get? If it is the 2.7T, you are probably in for engine trouble. Regardless of the engine you are probably in for suspension problems with that mileage. Read More...

Just paid $459 for the serpentine belt & tensioner repair on my Audi A6. Is this a fair price? Wholesale parts were less than $80 - but okay, so the local 'non-Audi' dealer made a few dollars ... looks like a bit of labor to reach this system. Any comparable costs out there?
