I just "Traded In" my 2008 Audi Lease to an Audi Dealer. Audi Financial did sell the Car to the dealer for the Residual which was much lower than the trade in value. My 2008 had 21,956 miles and was in "Excellent" clean condition. The Resdiual was $ 21,677 they gave me$ 23, 500 and now they have it on the lot for $27,456. http://continentalaudi.com/Chicago/For-Sale/Used/Audi/A4/2008-2-0T-White-Car/464- 4911/ Maybe the non Audi dealership ... Should I buy my A4 at lease end?
Written by: saab4now on Oct 17, 2010 1:39:16 PM
Hi, I am leasing a 2008 A4 Sedan 2.0T Quattro MT6, which ends on 01/02/2011. I took the lease over from someone else after he had it for 19 months, and really love the car. No problems, no issues. I am wondering if you think buying it at the end of the lease is a good idea financially. Here are the particulars: Stats: Brilliant Red, Black Leather, Base MSRP $31,000 Options: ... Read More

2010 Audi Avant/Wagon Pricing
Written by: wtf_123 on Jun 2, 2010 10:52:15 PM
When I leased my 2008 BMW X5 and 2007 BMW 328i, I was able to get a hold of a pricing sheet showing the invoice and markup for each trim level and option. Using those numbers and offering a minimal profit, I was able to negotiate very good prices. Thus far, I've not seen one for the A4 wagons. I'm in So Cal and in the market for a well-equipped 2010 ... Read More

Help carman- any info on 42 month lease?
Written by: audieddy on Mar 27, 2010 2:51:08 PM
An audi dealer near me in MA is claiming the 42 month lease deals are better than 36 month ones. Do you have the money factor and residuals on various mileage (10k/12k/15k) 42 month leases? Also does audi maintenace plan increase residual value (it did by 1% when I last leased in 2008) Anyway they claim they will sell a 2010 A4 premium quattro with an MSRP of $36,305 for $32,131 ... Last summer, my local dealer had an '08 A4 demo... CPO warranty.. 8K miles.. asking $29,999... 8 months later, you should definitely be under $30K, even if it has zero miles.. It's no wonder they still have it, with prices like that...

what's the invoice on the 08? The 09s are going for less than invoice. the 08 is obviously a year old and is used even with 650 miles on it. At two year old, the car is 1/2 of the invoice. Does not sound like a good deal to me as the difference between invoice and list is over 3 grand. So, you are saving less than 2k and the car ... Read More

If the MSRP is $35k one can buy it for $32k. If one can buy a new one for $32k, I don't think you will get much more than $29k from a private party either. How much were you expecting to get?

My 2008 A4 v6 has been sluggish in the morning and recently the "check engine light" came on. The car has just under 15k miles and received standard maintenance service at 5k and 10k miles. Re: Another lease question [MrShade]

Hey Rick. The answer to your question is yes and no. Let me explain. Technically one could lease a 2008 A4 right now if they really wanted to. However, the lease program on leftover A4s is bad enough that I doubt anyone would want to.
