The dealer where I get my 2003 A4 1.8 FrontTrak serviced was having an introductory show today for the new A4. Nothing but A4's in the showroom and three out front for test drives. I test drove the 2.0 sedan. I loved the way it drove, rode and handled. But in showroom, they had the Avant. Even better in person than the photos. I also have a 2003 A4 1.8T; mine is Front-Trak with CVT. Great seats, incredible gas mileage, paint looks like brand new, fantastic stereo. Now has 80,000 miles. Rides as solid as when it was new. However, I just put $2,300 into the computer control module for the CVT; mechanically should be okay. (I hope). I'm going to bet that that A4 lasts a lot longer and will keep ... Read More...

My wife and I plan to look at the 2009 Audi A4 quattro 2.0T. What other cars in the same class should we look at? We currently have a 2003 A4 quattro 1.8T which has been almost flawless. It sounds like a bad coil-pack on your car. Typically on Audi's when they go bad it results in the behavior your seeing. This can be checked by a relatively simple scan tool at most auto parts stores. If the code shows a bad coil pack it may not show what cylinder but there are ways to determine which relativaly easily. If you do a searc on the web for "audi coil pack diy" ... Read More...

I recently took my Audi to the dealer for the 40K scheduled maintenance. I have maintained this car regularly & have had no problems with the vehicle until AFTER the 40K maintenance. Earlier this year, Audi sent me notice of a fuel pump recall. The dealer inspected the fuel pump & said it did not need replacing. They charged me $689 for the 40K & sent me off warning ... Hello everyone, i have a 2003 A4 3.0L, and the stereo died on me about a year ago. Audi says its the amplifier and they want to charge me ~$900 to change it. It's the Bose upgrade. I keep reading comments about questionable Audi reliability which really is counter to our experience. We have an 2003 A4 1.8T quattro with 60,000 miles. can anyone advise on how much it should cost to repair the mass airflow sensor and a leak on the valve cover gasket?
