2003 Audi A4 1.8T Fwd 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

The problem is that the CVT transmission is a sealed, closed design and can't be rebuilt or fixed. A replacement transmission costs about $8000 installed. Not worth keeping out of warranty.

Best Features

Great fun to drive, nice interior.

Worst Features

Peeling switches make the car age too fast - looks sloppy. Too many major risks in ownership out of warranty: CVT, turbo failure, sludge. Not a car to own after 4 years old.
