Pedal overlap only hurts acceleration. Best launch technique is instant pedal transition. Car leaves with zero wheelspin and is fairly consistent. No redline on tach makes it easy to overshoot 6,750 max engine speed.
Solid, consistent pedal and consistent distances. Confident, straight stops.
Skid pad: Good sense of front grip through the wheel. Balanced at the limit. Tends toward understeer. Not easy to coax into oversteer but easy to balance once it's there. Slalom: Direct, precise steering coupled with reasonable stability control calibration proves fairly potent here. Still, a 117-inch wheelbase does the Rapide no favors when it comes to rapid directional changes.
