I can answer your questions and also (hopefully) clear up the confusion associated with IL lease tax. AFS, able to refinance your lease, but only as a used car. Once a vehicle is titled, it must be refinanced as a "used" or "certified used" vehicle. There is no way around this. Apparently the problems with the 2009 TSX brake pads are widespread enough that there was a class action lawsuit, which Acura settled. Something about the type of pads used. If you google it you'll find lots of information. Hi, The front passenger door of my 2009 ACURA TSX 2009 was hit and damged. Does anyone know of a reputable body shop in the Silver Spring, MD area. I called a couple of Acura dealerships and they said they do not do body work on cars. Thanks

tsx has a timing chain-tl has a belt- I am planning to get another acura in either March/April 2010- I presently own a 06 6MT/nav tsx, bought new 11/06. It has almost 90,000 problem free miles.

I went to the dealership today and got offered 27,800 on acura tsx 2009 with tech package. it would be around 31,000 otd here in phoenix. it was weird they wouldnt let me leave which made me think that im leaving a lot of money on the table. is this a good deal already? please help they say its only good till the end of the month. thanks.

Is the extended warranty worth it
Just bought a 2009 TSX tech package. At financing they offered to "reduce" the 7yr/100K extended warranty from $1850 to $1600. Is the extended warranty really worth it? The warranty really only extends the manufacturer warranty 3 years - thus it's only a 3 year warranty. The finance rep was telling me it is worth it because if the navigation system malfunctions after 4 years it will cost $3000 to fix. ... Read More

I am in the same boat as you, waiting for the 2010's. I would recommend you wait a month for the 2009's to get sold out, and then you'll get a better price on the 2010's. Just saw that the base TSX 09 lease offering went from $272.00,mo., 10K/36 mo. with $2,272.00 down to $397.00 for 10k/48 mo with $2,272. in the Chicago area. This is an 2009, not the 2010. Similar increases on the other Acura models. Good way to improve sales especially when overall Acura YTD sales are down some 35%

FYI I was just offered a base 09 TL for 400 a month plus tax. Sign and drive no cap cost reduction orbs fees. There is alot of support on the TL with Tech. That car may be in the 450 range. Comparing the deals I say 450 a month with first month and tags is better than an 09 TSX (smaller engine) less features. good Luck rob

I got mine in Houston, TX. 2009 TSX Tech Package. $28,500 plus tax and title. It was last 2009 in the lot, which is Champion Acura. There are more in Sterling McCall Acura, it should be no problem to get it at $ 29,000, but that sales manager is not professional at all.

I own a 06 6MT tsx, bought new 11/17/06. It now has 85,000+problem free miles. It is a very comfortable riding car for long distance driving. I clean and condition the seats on a regular basis.
