If money is a main factor, you may want to compare the total cost of ownership of each car, to include insurance. Also, factor in depreciation. Fuel Injector Cleaning??

Hello- New to this forum. I have a TSX, 2004, 72K miles. The dealership recommended a Fuel Injector Cleaning. yes, it is more sluggish now (despite using premium gas) but..there is a HUGE difference in price if the dealer does it ($200) or a place like Valvoline. I'm assuming the Acura dealer does a thorough cleaning of the injectors?? Is it worth it?? Thank you! Read More...

Well put NYC. The reason some people prefer the TSX to the TL is the same reason why some choose the TSX over the Accord. Size. The TSX is a more compact car that is arguably sportier (at least in 4 cyl trim) and more fun to drive. For young urban up and comers, why choose a larger sedan when you can have a right-sized one? I am in the same boat as you, waiting for the 2010's. I would recommend you wait a month for the 2009's to get sold out, and then you'll get a better price on the 2010's. This is why Acura has financing specials on the 09 only. The 2009, being the 1st model year has a lot of bugs. I bought the 2004 TSX when it came out, and my car had every single 'bug'. I agree about the TSX looks. I actually think the 2nd generation TSX was a step down from the 1st generation car (I may be biased, I owned a 2004 TSX for 2 years). The old car was simple and elegant, while the new one is needlessly fussy and overstyled (yes, especially the beak).
