Is This a Good Price?

I recently (on Aug 21) purchased a 2009 Acura TL AWD/Tech Package for $37,500 plus TTL. It is silver outside and taupe/ebony inside. They threw in wheel locks but nothing else and they would not throw in all weather floor mats. I purchased it from Open Road Acura in Wayne, NJ. Hi mich_car_buyer. I'm pretty sure that the money factor that the dealer quoted you on the '09 TL is wrong. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor for a 36 month lease of this car in Michigan is .00188. Perhaps the dealer was just rounding the number that they quoted you off. I'm looking to purchase a used Acura 06 with Navigation... I'm looking at CPO prices and they seem absolutely ridiculous. $24,460 @ 44,797 miles $23,000 @ 58k miles $23,000 @ 49k miles $25,500 @ 14,400 miles $25,500 @ 20,000 miles It's a 3-year old car.. and the price from lower mileage cars are only $8-9,000 away from what most of you guys are getting for the 2009 ... Don't blame you on 'keeping the bling'. I feel the same way. Hate the idea of stone chips, etc. I looked at the grill, but the pic is bad. The body color of the car is off-can't tell if it's white or not. I think we need a better, full body pic, where one can change the colors of the car to get a full effect. Car Man -- 2 question for you: I got an email today from a dealer in SE Michigan ... he said that for a 36 month, 10,000 mile/yr lease on a base TL, the residual is 57% and the MF is .00150 ... those sound like pretty good numbers given the prior posts on here. I have not gone in or talked about the cap cost with the dealer, which will obviously play a big role in a lease payment. ... Read More...

Hi Steve. Acura is still providing lease support on the 2009 TL in September. Its program for this car varies by state. In some states Honda Finance's current buy rate for it is .00235. So here is my scenario. I agreed to lease a 2009 TL AWD w/ Tech that was not yet on the lot with the idea being that the dealer had committed to their Acura Rep to take 5 TL AWD with Tech when built in late August.
